PRODUCT MANAGER

We are looking for a Product Manager to be included in the Technical Department, for the completion of the Area. The candidate will be responsible for some product lines, both for the creation of new ranges and for the relaunch of existing ones, strategically analyzing their impact on the market with a view to business developing. The candidate will take care of the entire life cycle of the brand, from the analysis of market and competition trends, to the management of the development steps of new products, up to the transmission of project inputs and the consequent correct marketing associated communication.

 

Main Activities:

  • Manage the information system on the market, identifying preferences, trends, analyzing the competition and the most innovative characteristics of the managed products
  • Create a competitive strategy for the product
  • Identify new commercial opportunities, working together with the Sales Area
  • Coordinate the activities related to the project and the product life cycle, from development to market launch, in collaboration with the Project Manager
  • Manage budget and price, product positioning and time to market
  • Define design features, reference standards, technical instructions, product range and packaging
  • Plan and manage product development cross-functional meetings
  • Manage the creation of dedicated Marketing material and technical product training in the Service & Training and Commercial Areas
  • Help motivate the sales force and distributors

 

Requirements:

  • Degree / Diploma in Technical, Marketing or similar fields, Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Excellent knowledge of English and other languages including French (preferable), Spanish or German
  • Consolidated previous experience of at least 3/5 years, preferably gained in companies operating in similar sectors (Automation for gates and windows)
  • Knowledge and use of SAP preferred
  • Knowledge of the main IT tools
  • Knowledge related to Project Management
